cotoiro, a store that expresses Kyoto through fragrance
cotoiro is an original brand of Art Labo, which expresses the aesthetic essence of Kyoto, its scenery, its colors, and the changing of the seasons through fragrances, under the theme of Kyoto, the Fragrant City.
Opened in July 2020 on the premises of Rissei Garden Hulic Kyoto, it is based on the philosophy of Art Labo, a Kyoto-based fragrance manufacturer, to provide healing and comfort in people’s lives through the planning, production, and sale of fragrance sundries.

HP Air Refresher is available in guest rooms at The Gate Hotel Kyoto Takasegawa. It is a deodorizing and disinfecting spray with deodorizing ingredients derived from natural herbs and 100% natural fragrances. There are four fragrances in total, and we have introduced “Rosemary & Sage” in the guest rooms.

Workshop
They are planning to hold workshops in the near future, such as making your own original fragrance using fragrance beads developed by Art Labo.
