Spectacular views that only The Gate Hotel Kaminarimon can offer

The Gate Hotel Kaminarimon, from the lobby on the 13th floor and the rooftop terrace on the 14th floor for guests only, offers dynamic views of the city of Asakusa, including Tokyo Sky Tree and Sensoji Temple.

In particular, from the 14th floor, on a clear day, you can see the Tokyo Sky Tree reaching tall into the blue sky, the uniquely shaped Asahi Breweries headquarter building, the Kaminarimon to Nakamise, the main hall of Sensoji Temple, and the greenery-filled Denpoin Temple.

Even after dark, you can enjoy the lights of the Tokyo Sky Tree, which changes its theme color every day, and the lights of Sensoji Temple, whose imposing figure emerges from the sky.

We would like to introduce three selected Tokyo Sky Tree views that are unique to The Gate Hotel Kaminarimon.

A must-visit full-moon evening! Available only once a month.

The night view of the full moon is a must-experience view available on the 14th-floor terrace for the exclusive use of our guests.

The rooftop terrace offers a wide open view to the east, so if the weather is clear, you can see the big, round moon rising in the direction of the Tokyo Sky Tree.

There is no other place in the Asakusa area where you can enjoy such a view.

Of course, on days other than full moon days, you can enjoy the night view of Asakusa while sitting on a sofa or chair on the terrace and feeling the night breeze.

Scenic guest rooms where you can enjoy the current and historic Asakusa at the same time.

Scenic rooms with large windows facing both the east and north sides of the hotel offer a view of the Tokyo Sky Tree, which symbolizes modern Asakusa, and the Sensoji Temple, which symbolizes historic Asakusa.

Enjoy a relaxing time unique to Asakusa while simultaneously viewing the lights of the Tokyo Sky Tree that change from day to day and the lights of the main hall and five-story pagoda of Sensoji Temple.

The early bird gets the best of the three! The Tokyo Sky Tree lit up by the morning sun is also exceptional.

If you get up early, you can also watch the sunrise from the windows of guest rooms on the upper floors on the east side of the building, the 13th-floor lobby, and the rooftop terrace in the direction of the east.

The first sunrise on New Year’s Day is another exceptional view.

We also recommend you book your stay for the year-end and New Year holidays, full moon days, and special lighting days of Tokyo Sky Tree!
