The Tokyo Mizube Cruise Line, operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Parks Association, is a water bus that operates along the Sumida River and waterfront areas.
The course connecting Asakusa to Odaiba, a popular sightseeing spot, runs regularly every day. There are also irregular services such as night cruises to enjoy the night view of Odaiba, event services, lunch/ dinner cruise, and charter services.

The reason why we recommend this cruise is because the boat landing is located right in front of THE GATE HOTEL Ryogoku, so when you are staying at our hotel, you can easily jump in the water bus

From Asakusa, enjoy the scenery of the downtown area and pass under numerous bridges over the Sumida River.
When you reach Kachidoki Bridge, you will see high-rise condominiums in front of you, and the downtown atmosphere will suddenly change to a more modern one.
This Kachidoki Bridge is designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
You can listen to commentary on the history and origin of the places and bridges you pass by on the boat.

Passing directly under the Rainbow Bridge, the boat heads for Odaiba.

The lights reflected on the waterfront are shimmering and beautiful, providing a different atmosphere from that of the daytime at the same location.

How to purchase tickets

Tickets can be purchased at the Ryogoku River Center, WATERS Takeshiba, Odaiba Seaside Park, Kasai Rinkai Park, Asakusa Nitenmon Gate, and Sumida Ward Office. The tickets are available on the day of purchase.
