All of the products displayed in the spacious store are available for customers to try out.

The store is not just about selling products, but also about helping each customer find something they will love for a long time, offering friendly consultation, and working together with the customer’s opinions and ideas. This time is part of the fun and excitement of writing and is loved by many people.

Environmentally friendly products

In addition, as a manufacturer, they focus on the four major elements that make up the earth: air, water, greenery, and soil, and are working on environmentally friendly initiatives to coexist with them. For example, they replace the inner pages of used notebooks so that they can continue to be used, and they use the scraps that inevitably come out during production to create other products.

Experience creating original stationery

At Kakimori, you can also experience making your own one-of-a-kind notebooks and ink.

Original notebook-making experience

You can combine them in any way you like.

You can read and choose the characteristics of each one.

This is a popular experience where you can create your own original notebook, with no reservation required.

You can choose from four types of notebooks in B5 or B6 size, either vertically or horizontally, and combine the cover, back cover, inside paper, ring color, and clasp of your choice. The covers are made of various materials such as leather and fabrics, and there are about 30 types of inner papers according to the purpose of use. It takes about 40 minutes to complete the process, depending on how crowded it is.

You will be able to create your own notebook using your favorite combination of paper, which will make you feel even more attached to your notebook.

Original ink-making experience

There is also a custom ink-making experience at Inkstand by Kakimori, where you can make your own original ink by mixing one drop at a time.

Access to the store

It takes about 17 minutes on foot from The Gate Hotel Ryogoku. If you come by train, it is a 15-minute walk from Kuramae Station (Exit A5), which is next to Ryogoku Station on the Toei Oedo Line.
